At Home With The Constable’s- Family Documentary Photography Norwich

Jan 4, 2017 | Lifestyle & Documentary

As you may have read if you follow my page I am introducing a new type of session to my portfolio, Family Documentary Sessions.

These kinds of sessions are hugely popular over in the US and I LOVE them! So I am building up my training and experience, the lovely Constable family got in touch when little Neave arrived a couple of weeks ago and I popped over to spend an hour just capturing and documenting their “everyday”. For me I think these sessions are what I would choose for myself and my family, so that in 25 years time we can look back through an album and view that snapshot of time, not only what we looked like but the fashions we wore, the house we lived in, our pets and our past times…. I would so dearly love to have such an album from my childhood, even to see the supermarket we went shopping in and what I wore etc… so that is what these new sessions are for. Capturing the everyday, complete with the routines and chores, with the tantrums and chaos, the squabbles and the cuddles.

I still have a lot to learn about capturing these moments in the very best way and they are new to me and Pennycress, but if you would like me to spend some time with your family and capture your everyday then please do get in touch…..I could spend an hour or a whole day….I could document your family at home, on a day trip, a holiday, or even a special event. I am also looking into enquiries for documenting births and babies spending time in special care too….. documentary photography can be used pretty much for any time and any place.

Here are some of the everyday memories captured during my hour at home with the Constable’s!

Logan’s Birthday Session

The very awesome little Logan came to see me recently for his 1st birthday photo session, like many of the 1 year olds I meet he wasn't too interested in eating or smashing the cake. It usually goes 1 of 2 ways, either they adore it and get stuck right in, or more...
